Daisy's second entry

I ran over someone today... I hope she's OK. After I hit her I panicked! It's a good thing Jay took the wheel or else we all would have been in serious trouble. I wonder who that person was. Could she be my other cousin? Could she have been from one of Jay's parties? I wonder how old she was. I wonder what's going on back there now. Are the police there yet? Oh, dear. What a mess. It's splendid that I can have Tom take care of any legal troubles. It's nice to be on the upper crust. One can simply pay for everything! It's simply wonderful. I wonder who that person was, though...

Daisy's first entry

That Gatsby man is simply wonderful. He's successful, dreamy, and isn't a hulking brute like Tom! He gets along well with my dear cousin Nick. I think I should get Nick and Jordan to - oh, you know, get together? Oh, never mind. I think I'm going to go to Gatsby's party tonight. I've heard from him that there are lots of fascinating people there, and he'd be glad to let me in on the fun!

It's kind of odd that Gatsby still remembers me after five years. I sure didn't remember him, but I guess I fell in love with him all over again! He's such a dear. I guess that's why he and Nick get along so well! Oh, I can't wait to go to the party...

Tom's second entry

You know, that Gatsby person really pisses me off. He thinks he can be like us rich folk. He thinks his bootlegging business can make him equal to superior upper-class folks like myself! That impetuous fool.

Just today, he tried to get my wife to tell me she never loved me! I can't believe the nerve of that smug little nobody. She, of course, didn't do a word he so brutishly commanded; she knows the difference between us and the common, lower-class folk.

Tom's first entry

I read The Rise of the Colored Empires today. I found it to be a rather interesting book, and it truly captures the tide of colored folk and how they will overrun society if we do not act. Just the other day I came across a Chinese man and he was merely strolling along the street, as though he hadn't worked a day in his life! It's been scientifically proven that whites are superior to the other colors, so why do they strut around as if they own the place? It's downright sickening!

One day the white race will realize the horde is coming and will act. Until then, however, people will remain foolish and lazy while hardworking whites such as myself are forced to carry the burden of these... these... sub-humans!
